Delete Archived Facebook Messages
Note that deleting messages doesn't impact the copies held by the various other participants in the discussion. They'll still be able to check out the messages from their very own inboxes even if you have actually eliminated your copy.
How To Delete Archived Facebook Messages
1. Navigate to Facebook. The Facebook Carrier app doesn't enable you to access your archived messages, so you'll need to be on a computer to do so.

7. Click the gear icon in the top right corner of the message. This will motivate a drop-down menu with choices for your specific message.
8. Click the "Delete Conversation" option. Facebook will motivate you for verification before following your request. If you aren't rather all set to delete the discussion however do not want to receive alerts from it any longer, you can also click the "Mute Conversation" option below.
9. Click "Delete Conversation" on the pop-up window. This will completely erase your discussion from your Messages folder!
