Permanently Delete Facebook Messages
How To Permanently Delete Facebook Messages
Step 1. Click the "Messages" symbol on your Facebook homepage. The Messages symbol lies in the top left edge and also resembles 2 tiny overlapping speech bubbles.
Step 2. Click the conversation consisting of the message or messages you want to remove. If it is not listed on the first Messages pop-up window, click "See All" to view all of your private messages. Click the discussion on that listing having the message you want to erase.
Step 3. Click the "Actions" button and afterwards click "Delete Messages" on the Activities drop-down menu.
Step 4. Click the check boxes located next to the messages you want to remove.
Click "Delete" and then click "Delete Messages" to validate that you want to delete the chosen messages.
Pointer
To remove a whole conversation instead of individual messages, click "Delete Conversation" after clicking the Actions food selection in the third step.
Warning
Erasing an exclusive message in your Messages inbox does not delete it from the inbox of your discussion partner.
