Report Facebook Account
On Mobile
1. Open Facebook Application.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Tap the search bar on top of the screen, key in the name of the person you wish to report, tap their name, and afterwards tap their profile photo.
3. Tap More. This alternative is near the top of the user's web page, just listed below and to the right of their name.
4. Tap Give feedback or report this profile. It's in the pop-up food selection. Doing so raises one more food selection with reporting choices.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Tap one of the adhering to choices in the food selection:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you chose either the Claiming to Be Someone option or the I Want to Aid alternative, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "Who are they making believe to be?" section.
- I Want to Help-- Touch a factor (e.g., Self-destruction or Harassment) in the "Can you offer us some even more details?" section.
7. Tap Send. It's a blue button at the end of the display.
8. Tap Done when prompted. Doing so confirms that your report was sent out.
On Desktop
1. Open Facebook. Go to https://www.facebook.com/ in your computer system's internet browser. This will certainly open your Information Feed if you're currently logged into Facebook.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Click the search bar on top of the display, enter the name of the person you want to report, click their name, and afterwards click their account image. Conversely, locate and click their name in your News Feed.
3. Click ⋯. It's snuggled in the bottom-right edge of the cover image at the top of their profile web page. Doing so prompts a drop-down menu.
4. Click Give feed back or report this profile. It remains in the pop-up food selection. This opens a home window with various reporting choices.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Click one of the complying with options in the window:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you chose either the Making believe to Be Someone option or the I Intended to Assist choice, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "That are they acting to be?" section.
- I Want to Help-- Tap a reason (e.g., Suicide or Harassment) in the "Can you provide us some even more information?" section.
7. Click Send. This blue button remains in the bottom-right edge of the home window.
8. Click Done when prompted. This verifies that your report has actually been sent.
