How To Report On Facebook
On Mobile
1. Open Facebook App.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Tap the search bar at the top of the screen, type in the name of the person you intend to report, touch their name, and after that touch their account picture.
3. Tap More. This alternative is near the top of the individual's web page, just listed below as well as to the right of their name.
4. Tap Give feedback or report this profile. It's in the pop-up menu. Doing so raises an additional food selection with reporting choices.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Tap one of the adhering to choices in the menu:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you picked either the Acting to Be Someone option or the I Want to Help option, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "Who are they claiming to be?" section.
- I Want to Help-- Tap a factor (e.g., Self-destruction or Harassment) in the "Can you provide us some even more details?" section.
7. Tap Send. It's a blue button at the bottom of the screen.
8. Tap Done when prompted. Doing so verifies that your record was sent.
On Desktop
1. Open up Facebook. Go to https://www.facebook.com/ in your computer's web internet browser. This will open your Information Feed if you're currently logged right into Facebook.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Click the search bar on top of the screen, key in the name of the person you want to report, click their name, and afterwards click their account image. Alternatively, find and also click their name in your News Feed.
3. Click ⋯. It's nestled in the bottom-right corner of the cover image on top of their profile page. Doing so prompts a drop-down menu.
4. Click Give feed back or report this profile. It's in the pop-up food selection. This opens a home window with numerous reporting alternatives.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Click among the adhering to choices in the window:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you chose either the Acting to Be A person option or the I Intended to Help option, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "Who are they acting to be?" area.
- I Want to Help-- Tap a factor (e.g., Self-destruction or Harassment) in the "Can you offer us some even more information?" area.
7. Click Send. This blue button remains in the bottom-right corner of the window.
8. Click Done when prompted. This confirms that your record has been sent out.
