Can I Report Someone On Facebook
On Mobile
1. Open Up Facebook App.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Touch the search bar on top of the display, key in the name of the individual you want to report, touch their name, and after that touch their account picture.
3. Tap More. This option is near the top of the customer's web page, just below and also to the right of their name.
4. Tap Give feedback or report this profile. It remains in the pop-up food selection. Doing so raises another menu with reporting options.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Tap among the adhering to options in the menu:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you selected either the Acting to Be Someone alternative or the I Intended to Help option, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "That are they acting to be?" area.
- I Want to Help-- Tap a factor (e.g., Self-destruction or Harassment) in the "Can you offer us some even more details?" section.
7. Tap Send. It's a blue button at the bottom of the display.
8. Tap Done when prompted. Doing so validates that your report was sent out.
On Desktop
1. Open up Facebook. Go to https://www.facebook.com/ in your computer system's web browser. This will certainly open your Information Feed if you're already logged into Facebook.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Click the search bar on top of the screen, enter the name of the person you intend to report, click their name, and afterwards click their account photo. Additionally, situate as well as click their name in your Information Feed.
3. Click ⋯. It's nestled in the bottom-right edge of the cover picture on top of their profile page. Doing so triggers a drop-down menu.
4. Click Give feed back or report this profile. It's in the pop-up food selection. This opens up a window with various reporting options.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Click one of the adhering to choices in the home window:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you chose either the Pretending to Be Somebody choice or the I Want to Help choice, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "Who are they making believe to be?" section.
- I Want to Help-- Tap a reason (e.g., Suicide or Harassment) in the "Can you give us some even more information?" area.
7. Click Send. This blue button is in the bottom-right corner of the window.
8. Click Done when prompted. This confirms that your report has been sent.
